LLELA March 9, 2009
We visited the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA) last Thursday. You had the opportunity to learn hands on about Food Webs, explored nature on a trail hike, and study an aquatic ecosystem. Tell me about your experience at LLELA. What new things did you learn? Parts of Speech February 10, 2009
Click below to watch the “Parts of Speech” Brainpop Video to review the parts of speech: noun, verb, adjective, and adverb. Then work with your group to come up with a list of 5 nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. You will then write a story using those parts of speech. When adding your comment, write your story first then write the words with their parts of speech.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Peña and I am a 5th grade Language Arts teacher at Stipes Elementary School in Irving, Texas! I have been a teacher for almost 8 years for Irving ISD and I have enjoyed every minute of it! I was born, raised, and currently live in Dallas, TX. My hobbies include spending time with my family, going on bike rides, jogging, reading, and learning. I am very excited to be part of this wonderful school.
